KORALIE, It is the blood of South Montpellier.
After having lived for several years in Brooklyn, she decided to move to Paris to put her art out there, which is a style all her own.
She is amongst the rare painters to have swapped the canvas for grey walls. Thanks to her collages, acrylics and oil paintings, she creates elegant, yet vibrant compositions with an acidic color palette. With her geishas, found in the streets of France, the United States and Japan, have been shared wildly in exhibits in the galleries and in different works and publications.
Even if her referral to Japanese illustration is obvious, KORALIE also adds touches of inspiration from Africa, Russia, India all in a perfect harmony.
