Gare du Nord
Paris’ train station Gare du Nord became, in the summer of 2015, the place to be when it came to urban art.
For 45 days, the Gare du Nord train station transformed into an art residency with the crazy project of coloring more than 1500m2 of the gray walls with the theme “The faces of the train station” with the help of 22 artists from France and around the world.
The artists who were chosen for their contribution to urban art, their journey, their works of art, and their personalities, invaded the train station and left their mark of their spirit on the lungs of the life breath of the city to permanently grave these faces on its body.
Paintings, frescos, stencils and collages animate the train station Gare du Nord still today having become the mirror of the travelers.
The faces in every direction, for every taste, produced by Artiste Ouvrier, Fafi, Kool Koor, Louis Masai et many more still displayed throughout all of the train station and of course on the track of Quai 36 the icon for our association.
