First influenced by comics and street art, Antoine Bertrand followed the comic strip training at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels, then acquired his skills and asserted himself graphically in cartoons. After his discovery of Africa and Asia, he questioned everything and decided to devote himself fully to painting. He focuses his work on the animals he prefers to humans, and it is Japanese culture that remains his primary source of inspiration. Indeed, her curiosity for pictorial techniques, especially Asian ones, encourages her to travel to deepen her knowledge. He then developed a range of skills ranging from painting on ceramics to mural frescoes made with a sword to be painted. He makes his own swords and even produces his own painting. It is therefore through traditional and modern tools that he expresses his fascination with nature in works where the relationship to emotion is instinctive.
<thumbnail_url>https://quai36.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Antoine-bertrand-mountains-street-art-mural-2000x1200.jpg</thumbnail_url><thumbnail_width>2000</thumbnail_width><thumbnail_height>1200</thumbnail_height></oembed>
