Chris Puddy

Originally from the south of France, Chris Puddy is inspired by the "Rising Sun" and the "Pearl of the Antilles". It was when he returned from his trip to Haiti that his taste for painting took hold. He wishes, within his artistic approach, to pay homage and to make known his own vision of the Japanese-Haitian culture. Brushes and knives dance freely in contact with acrylic. Shades of blue, white forms and touches of black reflect the image of his art. Guided by life's moments, whether shared or solitary, Chris Puddy draws his inspiration from what he listens to, reads, sees or feels. He experiments with paint and learns to manage its nuances while letting his imagination and instinct run wild.
