Florencia Durán Itzaina

Since 2011, the artist has been experimenting with mural painting, creating hyper-realistic works in the public spaces of Montevideo, Uruguay, where she resides. She travels across continents in search of pictorial and human experiences, exploring the cultures and traditions of the places she intervenes in. She also engages in more intimate work, intertwining her experience as a woman with the role of the female artist.
