Martin Lyonnet
Somewhere between abstract and figurative, Martin Lyonnet's works interact between cutting, collage and assemblage. Inscribed in the moment, his collages are fragments of a day, as the name of his works reminds us: twenty-four hours. 4.10pm, 9.45pm, 10.16pm... The urgency of the instant has been captured by the artist and rendered to the viewer in a thousand and one colors.
A dialogue is then created between light and matter, through vivid color palettes and the creation of reliefs, which structure his works. The viewer is caught between contemplation, reverie and memories.
