Paris Communal School

In late October 2022, the artist Loraine Motti created a mural for the Paris Communal School in Tournai, Belgium. This artwork, initiated by IDETA as part of the DESIGN’IN project, aims to enhance the city and improve the appeal of city centers through design.

Loraine Motti offers an illustrative and playful reinterpretation of the tapestry depicting the four Merovingian kings displayed at the Tournai City Hall. This colorful adaptation aims to engage younger individuals with the history of their city through art. In this regard, Quai 36 has developed a small informative display for the students to introduce the artist and explain her work.
