QUAI 36 x MADDY KEYNOTE 2020

Jonas Ramuz, president of Quai 36, was the guest of the 5th edition of the Maddy Keynote by Maddyness. This year's innovation summit invited a panel of entrepreneurs to share their vision on current changes in the territories and fields of life.

Our president thus seized the question, essential and inherent to the urban art world, and spoke on this occasion about the place of art as a privileged tool of expression but also as a powerful vector of manifestation of social transformations and emancipation of populations.

Simultaneously to this conference, we invited the artist Katre to conceive, this time through artistic creation, an artwork based on this theme, during a two-day performance.

The artist explores, both in his works and in his daily life, the relationship between Nature and Humanity. Used to disused sites he discovers and invests alongside nature, Katre rested his artwork on the photography of an old abandoned factory in which lianas and trees meet with metal girder, of which he himself is the author.

With paint sprays, the artist rethinks the photography by creating a game of depth, thereby inviting the viewer to reflect individually and penetrate this place, reflection of this duality.

The event was held at the Centquatre in Paris, an artistic and cultural establishment encouraging the expression of creativity in all its forms and artistic experiences.
