PAT PERRY
Pat Perry is an American artist based in Detroit, Michigan, who paints, draws, photographs, and creates large outdoor murals internationally. Influenced by the "Lowbrow Art" movement that originated in Los Angeles in the 1970s, Pat Perry's work incorporates its colorful, pop, graphic, playful, and surrealistic elements. Often described as an "adventurer" due to his nomadic lifestyle, he documents his travels through art and his encounters with the cultures he discovers along the way. He also regularly volunteers in collaborative projects, such as the Beehive Design Collective, a national art-centered project. The artist translates his beliefs and observations of the world around him into his figurative murals.
